Caitlin graduated from Victoria University with an LLB and BA majoring in English Literature and has been working as a family solicitor since 2018.
During this time she has formed strong working relationships across the Hawke’s Bay legal community. She has gained valuable advocacy skills both inside and outside of the Family Court. She regularly works with clients who need urgent protection and parenting orders, and with parties who are involved in Oranga Tamariki Act proceedings. Caitlin also regularly advises clients about relationship property matters.
In her spare time Caitlin will be tramping, sailing, cycling and generally enjoying the beautiful Hawke’s Bay outdoors. She is an avid reader and loves sharing good reads with friends and family.
Caitlin has a keen interest in access to justice issues and regularly volunteers for the Hawke’s Bay Community Law Centre, Heretaunga Womens’ Centre and Citizens Advice Bureau. She also teaches part of the Parenting Through Separation course at Birthright Hastings.
Caitlin is a member of the Family Law Section and the Hawke’s Bay Family Courts’ Association.
